Meet the couple behind Pineapple Kitchen
People like to ask where the name "Pineapple Kitchen" came from? Pineapple Kitchen was born out of a desire to show hospitality to family and friends, especially when it comes to food! The pineapple is the universal sign of hospitality, so it was natural to pair it with our love of good food. At Pineapple Kitchen we have created all-natural products to serve at your next party, which will surely make your guests feel welcome.
At Pineapple Kitchen, we specialize in fusion condiments and our famous
Soft Bavarian Pretzels and Gourmet Dips. Looking to purchase locally? Come visit our Gourmet Market, Tasting Room, and Culinary Theater located in front of our wholesale warehouse a at 4914 Lena Road, Unit 104, Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
In our Culinary Theater, we offer Pineapple Kitchen Kids® Culinary Education programs which teach children ages 7-13 about principles of food safety in the kitchen, best practices for food preparation, basic kitchen tools and measurements, and offer hands on experience of how to create a recipe. In addition, you can find on our website a list of fun culinary experiences for adults which include unique Dining & Mixology Events, Charcuterie Classes, and our popular Interactive Murder Mystery Shows.
New for Fall 2022, sign up for our Pineapple Kitchen Kids® workshops. These 2-hour hands-on workshops will focus on basic culinary instruction with specific themes.
Pineapple Kitchen was founded and created by husband-and-wife team Mike & Jenny Schenk, Lakewood Ranch, Florida residents. On August 18, 2022, Pineapple Kitchen was one of seven businesses or nonprofits honored by the Manatee Chamber of Commerce’s 42nd Annual Small Business of the Year Awards.
